Tricia Helfer was born in Donalda, Alberta, Canada where she was raised on the family grain farm. She fell into modeling in high school and began an extensive modeling career working for top designers such as Giorgio Armani, Versace, and Dolce Gabbana, and magazines such as “Elle,” “Vogue,” and “Cosmopolitan” to name a few.
